Project study
Project overview
D-Biblio is a responsive e-commerce web application designed to simplify the process of discovering and buying French-language e-books. Grounded in user-centered UI/UX design principles, the platform features an intuitive browsing layout, structured navigation, and a frictionless checkout process. Built to perform seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices, D-Biblio delivers a clean, engaging digital reading and shopping experience tailored to modern readers.
The challenge
Digital bookstores can overwhelm readers with dense catalogs and unclear buying paths. The design needed to make French-language e-books easy to browse, evaluate, and purchase on both mobile and desktop.
Approach and key decisions
I organized the experience around clear categories, scannable book information, and a direct path from discovery to checkout. Responsive layouts, consistent visual hierarchy, and restrained interface patterns keep the catalog readable while preserving a distinct bookstore identity.
Demonstrated capability
The study demonstrates how thoughtful information architecture and responsive commerce design can reduce friction from browsing through checkout. This is a demonstrated design capability, not a claim of measured sales performance.
