Project overview
Life & Spice is an editorial web design project focused on vibrant brand expression and effortless readability. The layout combines strong typography, flexible content modules, and intuitive navigation paths to create an engaging reading experience that makes discovering content simple and seamless.
The challenge
Content-rich sites must express a strong personality without making articles harder to read or new topics harder to discover. The interface needed to balance bold branding with calm, predictable reading paths.
Approach and key decisions
I used expressive typography and color at key moments, then supported them with reusable content modules, generous spacing, and simple navigation. The system separates visual emphasis from reading structure so personality does not compete with comprehension.
Demonstrated capability
The study demonstrates a reusable editorial system that can support varied content while maintaining a consistent voice and readable hierarchy. The result is presented as design evidence rather than measured audience growth.
